Waterfall Walk & Picnic

Travel beyond the rolling tea estates to Fairlawn Falls, a secluded waterfall nestled in lush forests and rocky ravines. A scenic drive through undulating tea-dotted hills is punctuated with Hindu kovils you may wish to explore before reaching the waterfalls. Cascading down the rock face into a series of tranquil pools, Fairlawn is an idyllic, secluded spot for a refreshing dip or to read a book in the sun-dappled shade. Unwind amongst the natural beauty of the forest and enjoy a picnic in the peaceful surroundings, listening out for the calls of the many birds in the canopy.

Luang Prabang Cycling Tour

 Get under the skin of Luang Prabang on an afternoon bicycle tour, starting at the Royal Palace Museum for a historical overview. Pedal through quiet back lanes to Heuan Chan Heritage House, exploring its historical treasures and architectural beauty. Enjoy iced tea in the gardens before continuing on to the historic Wat Xieng Thong to marvel at the low sweeping roof which is characteristic of the classical architecture of Luang Prabang. Travel through Laos’ rich Buddhist heritage at Wat Khili’s traditional library and gain an insight into its diverse cultural tapestry at the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre.
