Situated on the west coast, the village of Chamarel is part of the Rivière Noire District and home to an abundance of nature and scenic locations.
Begin your Mauritian adventure with two nights at Lakaz Chamarel, a charming boutique hotel perched up in the hills and set within twelve acres of hibiscus and frangipani-soaked gardens and mango trees. Unwind in this tranquil inland eco-lodge with activities such as yoga and swimming, with the white sands of Le Morne within easy reach. For those wishing to explore the island, we can arrange day trips to the natural wonders of Chamarel such as the spectacular Seven Coloured Earth and the waterfalls.
